Teresa Aherne

I am Special Counsel for Steindle Williams providing expertise across a broad range of areas with a particular focus on issues concerning construction, contracts, wills and trusts disputes.

Background

I was admitted to the New Zealand bar in 2008, having moved from Ireland in 2002. Since that time I have dealt with a wide range of complex litigation dealing with building defects, finance companies, insurance and professional negligence matters. I joined Steindle Williams in 2024, where my focus lies in the areas of civil litigation, contract issues, construction and dispute resolution.

 I am also a qualified project manager, which helps me to bring a systematic and efficient approach to file and cost management.
