I enjoy navigating the intricacies of criminal law to get results for clients, and have a wealth of practical courtroom experience in the District Court and the High Court.
Background
A solicitor in the litigation team, I assist with all civil litigation and criminal defence matters.
Before joining Steindle Williams Legal, I spent several years as a specialist criminal defence lawyer, giving me a unique insight into court workings and criminal law. I hold Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Otago. I also hold PAL 1 and Duty Lawyer certification for legal aid services.
Outside of work, I’m a keen supporter of the AUT Mooting Society and regularly volunteer as a judge and coach to help law students develop advocacy skills.
